Ala'n Jackson
Alumni Sister Fellow
Childcare Program Coordinator - New Orleans Workers' Center for Racial Justice
My Story
My name is Ala'n Jackson, and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I am currently a graduating senior at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. During my time at Xavier, I received a flyer to join Brothers Empowered to Teach. I took a interest in the organization and joined as a Sister Bruh. During my time in the fellowship, I was exposed to various roles within education. Early childhood Care was an avenue that stood out to me the most and has encouraged me become a Childcare Provider as well as the current Childcare Program Coordinator for New Orleans Workers Center for Racial Justice.
