Jared Harris

Jared's initial start in education was in 2014, doing marketing for a local nonprofit at the time called Take The Lead Foundation. Shortly after he also received the opportunity to become a Bruh with another local non-profit company entitled, “Brothers Empowered to Teach.” Jared had the pleasure of serving as one of BE2T’s first Bruh’s as well as providing his marketing skills and expertise to the company when needed.  Working with a company that’s purpose is to increase the less than 3% of black men that in are in education in our country had influenced Jared to take his career further by serving as an Admissions Counselor for Dillard University where he helped to recruit more black males to the institution. Jared later moved forward to work for St. Augustine High School as an Academic Counselor and was swiftly promoted to Director of Admissions. He now currently serves as Senior Manager of External Relations for InspireNOLA Charter Schools where he manages recruitment, partnerships and events.
